- AEV’s Engine Skid Plate is now available as a direct-fit upgrade for the standard ZR2’s aluminum skid plate.
- This skid plate is standard equipment on the 2019-22 Colorado ZR2 Bison and as with the rest of the ZR2 Bison’s Hot Stamped Boron Steel Skid Plates, it is both lightweight and incredibly strong.
- Compatible with both gas and diesel models
- Hot Stamped Boron Steel (HSBS) is an ultra-high strength, press hardened steel and is most commonly used in automotive applications for passenger impact protection because it is lightweight with an extremely high yield strength (approximately 200,000 ksi vs. mild steel at 25,000 ksi).
