This piece measures approximately 7.5" in height and 4.5" in diameter at the bottom. There is no damage at all, and I was told that it was hand painted. Very heavy with a pewter lid. This is one of a limited edition of 10,000. It was made by Thewalt in Western Germany. It is stamped on the bottom with all of these details and is number 2058. Very heavy, and a really great display piece. There are many Thewalt steins on Ebay, but I have not been able to find this particular one. Hopefully, that is an indicator of its scarcity. No idea of the exact age, but I've had it for several years. My buddy sent it to me when he served in the military as an MP in Germany. Free shipping to the continental U.S. only.
