This ceremonial tea pot is in wonderful condition for its age. There are no cracks or repairs found. This is the information I was able to find about its maker and history.
Nakagawa Sagikyaku was a pottery studio operated by Nakagawa Yujiro in Koshomachi, Himeji, during Japan's Meiji period (1868-1912). The workshop produced high-quality teapots, tea ceremony items, and vases, known as Sagikyaku ware.

History of Nakagawa Sagikyaku:

Nakagawa Yujiro, a skilled artisan, established the Sagikyaku studio in Koshomachi, Himeji, and created pottery known for its fine craftsmanship and distinctive designs.

Early influence:
In 1877, Yujiro joined a company called Eiseisha, though details about this connection are limited. His work was part of a larger context of Meiji-era industrial and artistic development.

Although information about Nakagawa Sagikyaku is limited, the work and tradition of Nakagawa Yujiro represent a local manifestation of the broader revival of Japanese decorative art
