Bavois, Switzerland-Print

One of 4 prints of villages in Switzerland by the same artist with the initials G de M. (One print in the series is dated 1968-see other prints for sale). This gorgeous print is of a farm in the village of Bavois, not far from Lausanne, Switzerland. The print is 4.75 x 7.75 inches, newly double-matted in acid-free white/ black mats with an acid-free black backing and a new black wood frame, with a total size of 12x 15 inches. This is my favorite of the 4 images. This print has warm white/beige background paper, and a texture that also warms the image.. I love the two birds, those shadows under the roof eaves, and those shrubs along the high terrace. This image also has feelings of a watercolor, especially the mountains and trees. A perfect image!
