Description
Body: 100% British wool. Made in England. This model is a reproduction of the "A-1 type" and "engineer sweater" designs used by aircraft maintenance personnel in the U.S. Air Force. It features a military khaki color and a unique neck design that blends a V-neck and a shawl collar. To enhance durability, the shoulders, hem, and sleeve ribs are knitted with a higher density than the body. The body is made of stretchy rib knit, while the cuffs and hem are slightly tighter rib knit. The chest and upper arms are relaxed for ease of movement during work, and the cuffs and hem are ribbed to prevent them from getting in the way. You can feel the density of the knit when you hold it, as it has a bit of weight. A separate fabric is sewn on the back of the shoulders for reinforcement. Medium gauge, not too thick.
