- These virtual barrier are super-small and hardly noticeable. They run on two AA batteries per unit. They have two settings. The first setting projects a 10’ IR beam in a straight light line. This is good for doorways. The second setting produces a 4’ circular IR beam around the unit. Halo mode basically makes a circle around the unit that the robot won't enter.This can be useful if you have pets.
