This full pressure kit is entirely made of Stainless Steel 304, unlike other models from the market that manufacture this product from Chrome and other type of softer and weaker materials. The only part that is not SS is the piston, which is made of brass. Coffee Sensor offers along with the parts a full installation kit, including Teflon tape as sealant, food safe grease for lubricating all moving parts and two new piston gaskets ! The pressure kit is compatible with both Pre-Millenium and Millenium models from La Pavoni. So this is a universal kit, compatible with all generations of LP’s. A new handle is not included in this price. But it’s very easy to remove your old on and just install it on the new handle shaft. The group head pin model is a special one that closes up with a small screw so it has a very fixed position. That way the piston shaft will not have much room for unnecessary movement or play. The pressure gauge indicates a maximum 16 bar and is chromed on the back. The parts are shipped 90% assembled, so our customers just need to dismantle the parts, use Teflon tape on every joint for sealing purpose, reattach the parts and there you go. Remember than more Teflon tape will help you get the gauge or other parts in the exact position that you need, in case that the parts screw more than needed. This is useful to get the gauge be positioned perfectly forward.
