This plate is part of a range of nurseryware produced in 1993 to celebrate the centenary of Peter Rabbit. It has a central decoration of Mrs Rabbit offering Peter a cup of camomile tea. There are a further six illustrations of Peter around the rim interspersed with a hand-written copy of Beatrix Potter's letter to the son of her governess in which she tells him a story about four little rabbits whose names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter. The plate measures 9¾ inches in diameter, is first quality, and has the Wedgwood backstamp. It comes in perfect condition.
