RAFA MACARRON Fifteen

I've visited many galleries in Paris, but the artist who stood out the most was Rafa Macarron. His drawings are a fusion of the comfort of Picasso's "Guernica," the texture of American comics, and a three-dimensional, animation-like feel. I was really moved by them. They just felt good. I think I had about three days left after discovering this artist, and I went back every day. Eventually, I wanted to buy one, as I had some money at the time, but when I checked the price, it was over 20 million yen, so I had to give up, sadly. "I can't just give up!!" So, I managed to buy just this collection of his works. I'm not really a materialistic person, but that was the first time I ever thought, "If only I had money!!!" and "I really want this!!!" Looking back, that might have been the last time I ever wanted to buy something so badly. Thinking about it now, he must be a really good artist. It's a unique and unusual world, so I really hope you'll take a look at it.
