This is a genuine, rough stone - straight from the Peruvian Andes. These are not your polished, gussied up, pale colored Amazonites you often see elsewhere - the colors range from a vibrant aqua turquoise to a pale green teal. As they are untreated, some of these stones may still have some of the rock matrix or inclusions embedded.

This piece is lovely - with a rich and vibrant color. I wire wrapped it with copper jewelry wire in a 2 sided design: one very elaborate and femme - to be a perfect compliment for the genuine freshwater pearl dangler - the other one a bit more restrained. I included a beautiful, ornate, copper chain in a Greek Key Motive for you to wear this pendant on.
