Trunk Show" - a miniature trinket box crafted from marble resin for Harmony Kingdom in UK.
Carved to show 4 (or 5!) birds with blue eyes in a tree trunk (look for the one peering out of the knothole!)
Made around 1995, this piece was retired in October of 1996. Measures 2.5" tall by about 1.5" wide. Created by artist Peter Calvesbert and originally called 'Treasure Jests', these little boxes were made with whimsy in mind.
Excellent condition with no damage. Very detailed and well executed. A great addition to your collection or a swet gift for a bird watcher! It will be packed to arrive safely.
