The ACU Camouflage Deltoid & Auxiliary Protector (D.A.P.S) Universal is a removable, modular armor piece designed to fit over the shoulders and armpits (axillary area) of the Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV), providing extra ballistic protection against fragmentation and bullets, especially from threats like IEDs made with the ACU Camouflage or Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). hese "one-size-fits-all" protectors attach directly to the OTV, covering gaps and increasing soldier safety in areas vulnerable during arm movement. This set was made by Point Blank for the US Army. They not contain any type of plates and is in very good condition.
