This listing is for a yardage of an unusual double-weave fabric in a spectacular mod checker pattern. Love the strength and vibrancy of this pattern! The colors of solid black and solid intense chartreuse/spring green juxtaposed to the fine black and white gingham squares pop just beautifully.
The 1960s material is medium weight and, as I mentioned earlier, it is doubled, making it reversible as well. The fiber content is not known, but to me It feels like cotton blend. I did the burn test and there were no terribly unpleasant odors coming off from the burning thread. The fabric could be used in home textiles or for clothing.
The fabric measures 44 x 96”. It is in great vintage condition with just very slight dusty odor, typical to material that has not been aired out for some time.
