This vintage large cast glass carboy/demijohn, model #5250, is ideal for wine and beer making. Originally used during the Prohibition Era for distilling and decanting, it features the Owen-Illinois Glass mark and additional #53 on the bottom. The jug holds 5 gallons of liquid and measures 18 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and 35 inches around. There are some scratch marks on the bottom. Images are provided for reference.
