Vintage subbuteo table rugby big box edition, complete, c 1969

This is our original big box SUBBUTEO table RUGBY game, dating from around 1969/70. It comes from our smoke-free home. It is complete; two full 15 a-side rugby teams, 2 matching full-back kickers with kicking tees, 2 rugby balls, 2 goalposts & stands, a scrummer, an excellent heavy baize pitch, a 10 page booklet of advanced rules dated 1969 and an insert in extremely good condition. The pitch is branded, uniquely in my experience, as ‘Subbuteo Table Rugby’ so I believe this to be a very rare version. The lid has signs of use, as you would expect being now more than 55 years old!
